Yes, the 93rd minute equaliser on Tuesday was a bit of a bummer. But we are still clear top and as yet unbeaten. We also have the best goalscorer in the division.

Despite (apparently) there being something going on up the A444 tomorrow, it would be nice to bust the 500 ceiling at The Oval and knock Adders off the top of the "Attendances" averages on the Football Web Pages site. Especially as it was only our away following that has kept them there!

I am bringing a newbie along tomorrow. My Boro mad granddaughter.

Let's put a show on for her, eh? She's had a difficult week.

Far from it.

She was previously training with Nuneaton Borough U10's Girls. All "Unsigned " (!!) players got a note yesterday telling them that they now had too many players. so any others were surplus to requirements and need not come any more. On the scrapheap at nine and 1/10 for P.R.

Mum had bought her new boots on Monday. She's a bit upset.

Believe it or not she's very excited. It's by way of a consolation. I've explained to her that BoroTown and the junior sides are different entities. She's had a Boro top since she was three. A hat trick from Jardine and a brace from Callum might soften the blow. :-)
