Surprised Jardine not in starting lineup in such a big game.

And a classic, stubborn performance. Love those last minute equalisers!
Well done to all.

First half we didn't play well at all , probably fortunate to only be one behind at the break . Second we started to apply some pressure and when the second went in i thought well that's that . Fair play to Stafford they refused to buckle and took the game back to us . Kyle's equaliser in the last minute of injury time just about sums up the boro in the last season and a half they just don't give up . Then for the second time in a month we witnessed us dominate a penalty shoot out . It is possible to beat this boro side but it certainly ain't easy .

Agreed really enjoyed today the team are showing a fantastic never say die attitude and a resilience that is getting us over the line. Appreciate 3 of our last 5 games have been cup ties but interestingly we have conceded 11 goals in the last 5 games against 12 goals conceded from the first 15 games.

I don't think the pitch helped our game yesterday.
(Did anyone notice how small it was )
Easy to close us down, didn't let us play our free flowing open football. Injuries, players missing, no excuses but it upsets a settled side ....... all didnt help

No problem with Gillies who did a steady job but Carsley is a massive loss when not playing .
Still we got through and it was certainly a great finish .
