That was the first away game I’d missed in several seasons (hence my chatroom handle). My new girlfriend suggested I should give it a miss. I was gutted when Boro won, but on the other hand, we have now been married for 41 years!

I’m sure this was a home game and if my memory is correct we had signed a few ex Adders players at this time, Gray being one of them.
