How is that pathetic? Boro lose their first game of the season in the league and it’s pathetic?
Get a grip. No-one goes unbeaten all season, let alone win every game.
Yes a 3-0 loss away to a team who hasn’t won at home all season isn’t great but are you forgetting all the other games that have see us go top of the league?
Losing and drawing is part of a season. If you expect a win every game go and watch Crvena Zvezda in Serbia. They win all apart from 2 games a season.
Grow up and have a bit of perspective

Agree with that. We could/should have been 3 or 4 down in the cup last Saturday. Not there tonight but have been told a couple of the goals are embarrassing.

Doesn't help both our centre halves are 35 and 40! Play a team with pace up top and it shows…

Beaten by mainly a team of kids , there number five was there oldest player aged 28, like others have said it’s been coming,
Some of our recent games have not been very good , considering our league position.

Congratulations to Easington on the win. They defended doggedly, were organised and took their chances when they had them. The first was a good strike, and the second and third were after defensive errors (a slip for the second on a wet pitch). Boro had quite a few chances first half which could have put it to bed.
Onto to Saturday at Daventry & fingers crossed from the Boro. 4 points clear at the top and a cracking start to the season.

Hope is not a plan.

When we got results against the likes of Grimsby, we called their fans arrogant etc for refusing to accept they could possibly lose to lowly Nuneaton.
We don’t wanna get into the habit of being a fanbase who take that approach when we lose games to teams like Easington.
This should be a reminder than teams are allowed to a) compete b) raise their game and c) beat us and that we aren’t in a league we will just turn every team over in. We have to be on it week in, week out.

We also need to consider the level at which we are playing. Inconsistency is almost the only constant - so unexpected results are almost routine.
It's one defeat. Let's hope for a return to normal service on Saturday. No drama!

Their 1st home win of the season. In previous home games they lost 5-0 to March and 4-1 to Eynesbury.

Just had a look.
Very much a junior orientated club that happens to also have a 1st team (and an over 50s team).

Forget Ingles , Saffron or Dudley , this was the worst performance i've seen from Boro since we reformed , and based on recent performances it's been coming . We got away with it against the likes of Godmanchester , Stafford & Dronfield but at some point this was going to change . Last night wasn't a one of fluke there have been a number of resent poor performance with the odd decent one . We need to sort that balance out , starting Saturday .

Actually we murdered Dronfield but gave two sloppy goals away. Our problem at the minute is we give goals away.

We have conceded too many poor goals in recent games . For me lack of pace at the back leaves us really vulnerable .I'm sure there good players as individuals but having a central defensive partnership with a combined age of around 80 is an obvious problem . Most teams at this level have young lads who can run . I've thoroughly enjoyed supporting the club since it reformed but that doesn't mean i'm going to ignore the warning signs that have been flashing for a few games now and yesterday was embarrassingly bad .
