After a run of mostly below par performances culminating in a shambolic performance on Wednesday , i'm thinking maybe it's the kick up the backside we needed . I think we've become a bit complacent and hopefully we'll get a big reaction today . We know what we can do time to start showing it again lads starting today .

are you saying this is the managements FIRST big test since taking the job on.
adding i think its fair to say not many clubs dont at some point in a season have a wobbly patch.
the good managers sort it the others do the rounds, thats football from the premiership down.

I think this duo are the best we have had in a long, long time. (As opposed to some of the dead weight we've had coaching us in the past.)
That (imho) is why we have lost only a handful of league games over two seasons. Hence me purchasing a season ticket for the first time in a decade.
Watch the video. See what it is like to have a manager who really cares and hurts when we lose. Instead of mouthing platitudes, shrugging or saying " It is what it is."

He started with an apology to the fans . Never hurts.
But not always common currency in the past.

I do think we have had the budget ( and its not massive ) to bring in better players than other clubs have, so its been relatively easy for any manager to win games. I'm sure we'll push on this season, next will be tougher for the managers.
