I may be in a minority, but I think it’s a good thing that we aren’t absolutely romping the league.

It actually shows progress that we are now in a competitive league and that there’s many teams who can get results against us and go head to head.

Genuinely see that as a positive.

The higher up we go the more it will happen we're not going to keep rolling teams over . Was talking with a very level headed poster on here at ON Chenecks and we were saying the amount of games we've won , goals scored and games lost since we reformed isn't normal . When we do reach a level were we return to the norm that will be the real test of the fans , will they stick with it .

Some will - but not 500.

Boro are 8th in current form table based on last 6 games. Won 3 Dreawn 1 Lost 2 10 points.
March Town are top with 6 wins 18 points. That is why our lead at top has nearly gone.
Need to get back to winning ways and quick
Next 3 games are Lutterworth away Aylestone Park at home and Moulton away.
No easy games there.

I'm sure you are right . But you know me. I've always been a bad loser. I lack your calmness and panoramic view of life. I'm too old now to change. I said a few bad word in front of my newly converted granddaughter yesterday and I had to apologise afterwards . She had turned as pink as her new Boro' bobble hat. I'm sure she's heard worse at school but it was a new side of her granddad which perhaps shocked her a little. In my defence I still think it's good to care. Especially in competitive sport.

I am philosophical reflective and over it this morning.

Histon really deserved to win. No sour grapes there. They weren't so much "better" than us-they were more effective and more organised. Their fans were ecstatic afterwards too. It obviously meant a lot more to them than just a fixture in the (now pretty tight) UCL and I can understand that given our respective histories. The scenes afterwards were verging on the embarrassing-but probably no worse than the Boro fans (me included) celebrating at Kirby Mucks last season.

The last two seasons have been really good to watch-its what has drawn many of us back and started us believing. Under You Know Who, I felt that the end was nigh and I had stopped attending even before he delivered the last few killer blows. The current style, standard of football and ethos has kept a few of us sane both last season and this one but yesterday was disappointing. I had perhaps forgotten how much disappointment hurts?

100% good to care in competitive sport!

I will sulk until the next weekend when I do badly on a Saturday in the summer, until I can put it right.

Something got into Acco too. All kinds of shenanigans yesterday, first half. Had to be restrained.

( I imagine that's not easy!).
