Morrison’s site.

It has been announced today that Morrisons have pulled out of building a new store on land on Midland Road. Would this be a feasible alternative to Vale View. Land is ready to build on.

Unfortunately it's too narrow as there is an access road to the railway yard that runs on it's northwestern edge.
It's also commercial land - Morrison's paid £1.3 million for it and I'd guess they will want to sell it for something around that mark

Another supermarket chain may take it over, Tesco maybe?

Handy for the station. And the bus station.

Yes, 10 minutes walk from the town centre, 15 mins walk from the railway station.
Site is wide enough for a football pitch and stands.
Easier access and a much better location than Vale View imo. 👍
