The Pope, Brook, Root dismissals in quick succession were awful.
Not one of them needed to play the ball, never mind play an attacking shot.

It’s probably time to scrap the Ashes in Australia and play them exclusively in England, that way we may get a few more even games.
Once the Aussies are back at full strength the current series might be one and a half day farces.
