Season could go pear shaped if ain’t careful

Well after Saturdays capitulation where do we go from here we could end up with nothing to show if we’re not careful?

End up with nothing , we’ve got something we thought we would never have 18 months ago , a football club to watch and support , a football club that is being run properly, a football club that is run with transparency, of course everyone is disappointed with Saturdays result, that’s football I’m afraid, and it happens at all levels , there’s a lot of football to be played yet , if we get promotion brilliant, if we don’t it won’t be for the lack of trying, another year or two at this level wouldn’t bother me or I think the majority of our fans, like I said we’ve got our club back , which in mine and many others opinions is the most important thing, we just need to get back home now.

There have been lots of seasons with nothing to show at the end. Playoffs would be a good achievement. We also need to build in order to have a side that can get promoted and stay up.

Omg
A club that’s been in existence for 18 month and got promotion in their first season have failed to get to Wembley and are a pitiful 2nd in the league.
And to think Arne Slot has problems.

Another season in this division would be no bad thing in my opinion. But there is still a lot of games to go so a lot to play for. A couple/three new signings are badly needed in my opinion but that is subjective of course.

Another 3 seasons at this level would be a sensible compromise, given that once the Planning ball starts to roll, the Town will be relying heavily on the 'Back to Nuneaton' fund to help to meet escalating Planning costs, together with whatever Grant aid they can secure.
I would guess that the current level of income is nearing its maximum & IMO a promotion to Step 8/Level 4 could seriously stress the finances.
Also, a new 10-year lease/agreement to continuing playing at the Oval would be a good arrangement, given that is the minimum requirement required by the Football Foundation to apply for Grants.
The cautious/very prudent approach needs to be maintained & that applecart can very easily be upset, once the financial pressure of furthering Planning aspirations start to bite!
Just my thoughts!
Edit:
I have referred once again to the Oval, because IMO that is the Town's fallback/failsafe position, given that there is no guarantee that Vale View will result in a satisfactory Planning Permission being gained.

I agree we do need probably a defender and a forward , Jardine was isolated up front could we play a 4-1-2-3 formation a holding midfielder and 2 attacking midfielders to assist Jardine , Sawyers on 1 wing and Harrison on the other to supply him, lets just get behind the boys they have done great up to now ,i know the last few weeks have been ropey and got away with it sometimes let them know we are there get as loud as we can be the 12th man come on up the Town

I’m hearing one player they approached wanted more money that was offered to him , fair play to the board if that was the case for not signing him, we’ve had plenty players at the Boro over the years on stupid money ,some of them I have seen I wouldn’t pay in washers

The board don't even need to get involved, which is even better and shows we have the right people running the team.

Couldn't agree more, don't break the bank/budget for anyone.
If we can't afford players, so be it, live within our means.

We have been putting offers into players but for what ever reason they didn't want to come. One
I know of is one of the leading goal scores in our league .
