It turned out an excellent day for Boro with their win taking them 5 points clear of March Town who lost 3-1.
Boro have 57 points from 23 games with a goal difference of +39
March have 52 points from 25 games with a goal difference of of +29
Boro in driving seat in all aspects of points goal difference games won and also 2 games in hand.
Histon move into 3rd after winning at. Moulton and have 49 points (8 less than Boro) from 3 games more 26 against 23
Moulton after their defeat have now gone 4th with 48 from 27 games.
Atherstone are 5th with 41 points from only 20 games. They must have a good chance of finishing 2nd in table.
In bottom place are stranded Bugbrooke St Micheals with only 8 points from 22games
Oadby are 19th with 13 points from 21 games
Northampton Sileby are 18th with only 21 points from 26 games.

And I really do think Step 4 so soon would be a serious achievement, not speaking personally but others begin to see that as ‘proper non league’

Since the Histon home game , ignoring the Vase debacle , we've looked like a side who are going to win the league , we certainly did yesterday .
A couple of words of caution we only have five home games were as ten are away including most of our longer trips so that will test the players . The second is our squad is looking a bit thread bare certainly the days of loaded benches are not currently there .
We certainly must be odds on but one game at a time for now .

With their away win yesterday Bedworth have moved away from bottom spot, now occupied by Loughborough Students. Hope Bedworth stay up it would be nice to play them in a local Derby next season, should we gain promotion.
