Like you I find it strange that we have not brought in a defender. We have not struggled to score goals and seem to have good cover in that area. Defence has been a problem with the current centre backs too static and with very limited cover. It is this area that needs addressing certainly, if as seems likely , we get promoted.

I think McGrath when played with Carsley is excellent... Gives Carsley the freedom to push up and whip the ball in.
