Lost 2-1 at Alvechurch and are four points adrift with four to play.
Little by little.

We might be playing them next season then, I wonder if they were in the play offs would the manager have resigned just a thought 🤔

I never wanted JG anywhere near the club BUT I reluctantly did feel he was the right man at the wrong time due to the mess the club was in.
I admit, whilst he football was bad it was no where near as bad as I expected.
When he becomes owner, I always felt the club were just treading water until it drowned.
At least he made Boro a family club.......it just happened to be his family as perfectly demonstrated with the game at the CBS Arena.
I have to add this.
Messers Stocker, Brown/Neale, Hawkins, Ginnelly & Smurfewaite were all treated as heroes by many/most only to become demons. I don't think Thorn was ever in that hero class.
I wonder what those who massive backed H&H over the current regime (often viciously) no think.
Back to JG era.....how many lies were we told by him and those around him? Debt nearly paid off; lease sorted. Club running in the black.

Lots of talk now about JG and his abilities but the simple truth is anyone that said these things whilst he was at Boro generally took a lot of stick as being anti Boro. Many apparent Boro fans backed him even at the end because he “saved the club”. His antics when involved were a disgrace and even after having a go himself at fans on Boro chat, the promotion fund fiasco and the disrespectful picture of him on a cross because he believed he sacrificed himself for the good of the club, plenty still backed him.
Some though stayed away, some made their feelings known BUT many still backed him.
It’s all history now - enjoy your new club and make damn sure no one like him ever gets involved again.
Could he have been stopped? , probably not but imo there should have been a far better concerted effort to force him out once his shinanigans got out of control. He has a good right to be involved in football like anyone but managing in the Cov Alliance and the bottom rungs of non league doesn't qualify you to run a club like Boro with a large number of paying supporters.

No, he would'nt have gone then. He has a massive ego and I believe he thinks clubs like Boro', Atherstone and Barwell were lucky to have him as manager. At rhe start of last season he said that Barwell would be pushing for promotion, instead they ended up in the relegation zone, only being saved by another club leaving the league. With the support of his sponsors ;Crown being the main one, he certainly had the resourses to maintain Barwell's place in their league. They may yet survive, but if so it will be because he has gone.

I wish them well now that GJ has left ... I just hope no other club thinks about taking him on.

im afraid he suffers from a common human complaint
he possesses an inflated ego of his own capabilities
when football management is the agenda
he is not on his own. many think they are a Pep..........very very few are.
a lot of us on here can talk a good game ( yep me included ) its so easy to be wise after the event EH!!!
ps. good luck to all for the point needed

How many managers in Boro history have come from amateur football management or have not played the game at league level or top level non league?
The top amateur local managers of the last 50 years- and I know a few of them- have never got near to managing the Boro.
JG didn’t have the cv to manage at Boros level. One top Nuneaton football stalwart who I will not name told me JG should never have managed above two or three levels below Boro.
