Cannot see us getting anything Monday bad display 1st half Atherstone better you would think they were top of the league,we might get something Monday if he plays same team that came out 2nd half today drop Hendrie and McGrath bring Ben on as left back push Carsley left midfield ,2nd half was better it as been coming a defeat for a few weeks now I don't know what is going on with the team

Atherstone’s last 4 games are Hinckley AFC and Daventry at home and Histon and Easington away. Histon could be difficult but other 3 are winnable, but they have to win them all.

I think they'll win two, draw one and lose one.
Not a chance they'll win all four games.
Boro will get one win from two games, so should be around a 7 point winning margin I think. 👍

Have to agree.. the way we're playing at the moment, can't see us getting through the playoffs.
Coventry United are currently winning at Newport Pagnell.
They're bang in form... won 8 and drew 1 of their last 10 league matches

If we somehow manage to throw away winning the league from the position we are in, then unfortunately think we will have to make a management change

Are you for real? Our managers have got us a league championship from a standing start without exceeding a strict budget, built a team that has spent most of the season top of this league. Even if (and it's still unlikely) we don't go up, don't you think they've done a great job? If I had told you before the start of last season that we would now be top of the division above, would you seriously have said that's not good enough?

Not being funny but the league below I’d say 90% of teams don’t even have a budget and just pay expenses. So a budget for 200 gate is massive in that league.
This season with the position we’re in and I did say if we lose it. I really would sack the managers. Not to get 6 points from the last 6 games would be a massive explosion of form. Especially against again teams with a lot lesser of a budget than ours. Again our budget is for 300 which again is good for this level when teams struggle to get within half of that average. Only 6 times are over half of the 300.
We can’t keep saying it’s a new team etc etc. we’ve done that before and it’s going to be the same as people said jimmy saved us and can’t be sacked. It as to be result based and performance based on what the managers should be judged on and if we don’t get promoted ( win the league or via playoffs) then unfortunately it’s been a disaster of a run in and I’d expect most teams would sacked the managers if they were in the position we are in

Not a disaster of a run in. We seem to have left our toughest fixtures to the end if the season plus extending the season has helped our opponents. Strange that Atherstone did not have a midweek game last week but we did.

Unbelievable!!!!
On the off chance that we lose both of the remaining games, we will have completed a season with only five league defeats. Do you really think that's so catastrophic that we should sack the management? Using that as a marker, Dudley Kernick would have been sacked after that disastrous 1966/67 season when we lost 12 games. What a disgrace he was, eh?
Oh - and he didn't win the league either.

Knee jerk reaction I would assume. I came away disappointed yesterday, especially first half ,,when we looked anything but a title chasing team. To be honest, it has not been great these last few weeks, and many thought that it would all be put right yesterday. Instead, in front of the biggest attendence of the season, we were subjected to what can only be described as the most clueless display tactically this season.

Two off the top of my head who maybe interested would be the Lichfield manager we’re at a higher level than last season, so he could be tempted and then the ex Leamington manager Paul holleran. He’s out of work and maybe looking for a new challenge. He’s done well when he was at Leamington.

Re: Full Time
Views: 326
If we throw away promotion from the position we are we’re in, then yes being sacked is acceptable. Just because we got promoted last season when we had a good budget and a lot of other teams don’t. We were playing teams with less than 50 fans.
Just because the club start from last season,It doesn’t and should not stop the club to be inhumane from criticism. Don’t start up a club if you don’t want to get criticised. It’s football. It gets judged on results. And performances what’s the way it is and the last month performances have been poor. Everyone is entitled to their opinion

The defence. Even tho we have been winning before this bad run. We’ve had been lucky to pick up points at time. Conceding very poor goals. My opinion is that it doesn’t help having 2 old players at centre back. Need a younger one alongside the older player

I’ve totally forgotten his name but the centre half we signed with Jardine from heather if he’d been available all season and not unavailable to due to work and we didnt have to release him, he’d when of been a big player for us this season. He was good at defending and good on the ball.
