Playing in front of big crowds issue

Anyone notice ever since we reformed as Town every time we play infront of big crowds at home seem to struggle. Seems like the players cannot handle the pressure. Yesterday was a missed opportunity not to just lift the title but also in terms of advertisement for the club, many fans returned after long period away or first time attending would have been very dissapointed what they witnessed.

The team have had a great season and fantastic couple of years but at present the team and management are undoing all their hard work with these recent performances.

Hope Doddsy and Acton gave them a proper bollocking post match. Atherstone were fantastic yesterday and deserve all the praise. The number 9 for the adders was destroying our back line.

Think its safe to say a lot of players showcased there not ready for the next step up and mass changes are required for the next level.

Going back to big crowd problem, is it possible the players have that big game fear?

I think you are too negative. All teams have a sticky patch. Graham Carr got us relegated. Graham Carr’s promotion side lost at Bedworth. The crowd had nothing to do with Saturday’s result - little things cost us the game. We failed to cope with the wind at our backs, basic defensive errors and expecting their players to be flagged offside for the second goal. Town dominated the second half but didn’t have the luck in front of goal. Two or three additions and this squad will be easily good enough for the League above.

Presume the other game brew is thinking about is the cup final at Walsall , but if you look a bit closer .
Our previous highest home , Cov Utd we won . Adders & Griff away both 1200 we won . Feel were just like most teams sometimes we win big games sometimes we don't .
