Cov now need one point from their final game at March to clinch runners up and home advantage in the playoffs . Adders & March are both decent sides but i'd definitely make Cov favourites for the playoffs .

I agree AA. Cov Utd have impressed in all three games against us this season. I also watched them beat the Adders 5-1 at the Butts earlier on in the season. If they do get home advantage, I think they'll win it, but as we all know football is a funny old game and even more so in the play offs.

Hope is not a plan.

Agrred they look the best out of the play off teams such a threat going forward with their forward line , thay have pace and can finish look at their goal difference.

Disappointing gate for Cov last night.. 137 compared to the 1711 when we played there.
I'm sure that the gate(s) for the play offs will be a lot higher, especially if the Final is between them and the Adders.

without us now promoted, and out of interest, at their level does anyone average say anywhere near 200
maybe for one or two even a 100 can be a struggle !! yes ?
wud imagine the adders do, dont know about the rest.
not sure what lge we go into * or what clubs average.
surely 200 + is the norm ?
* its still below SL football I believe ?
tbh over these last 2 seasons most of our opponents i had never heard of.
ps. not trying to be derisive btw just the plain truth on my part.

March & Adders are both over 300 Cov Utd a fraction below . Hinckley , Histon & Newport Pagnell are all over 200 .
Boro are around 620 .
We will go into the Northern Premier div 1 Midlands . The same level as division 1 of the Southern League one level below the Southern Premier and two the National North .

ok cheers for the info, some helpful facts by one or two posters.
showing up my knowledge or lack of it... no worries.
so in all essence we do go into the equivalent of the SL midland ie. NP midland ? yes.
in a roundabout ignorant way of sorts im right ? :-)
straw clutching.

Back at the same level we reformed at as Nuneaton Town in 2008 under IN/KW when we faced Leamington, Chasetown, Atherstone etc.

got it now.
a big well done to all involved
might treat the club to a concession season ticket.
pps.just to add to my comments
hope i didnt come across as trying to be a smart arse. cus thats not me.
i was genuinely in the dark on club matters, leagues, etc etc.
again the amount of time effort and trouble by all concerned
has been nothing short of a superb effort all round.
ok.

Everything depends on perspective. In the past I would have thought why can’t we get a more successful team given 90k population etc.
All I can remember now are a huge number of meetings in Bermuda where we wondered if we would have a football team at all!
So many bizarre mavericks have ruined the Club in the past. You could put an XI together.
So good now to have proper chairman, proper treasurer, proper secretary, fan reps and monthly reports!

And to answer Joe's last question, the average attendance in the Northern League Midland Division is just under 300. Belper, who may go up via the playoffs averaged 617.

Hope Belper stay down, tidy ground and nice town from memory of a friendly in 2016ish under Kev Wilson when Shaq McDonald and David Moli lead the attack!
