It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out for them. Following a larger trend of US companies getting involved in English football.
The company who is taking them over brought an 8% stake in Truro, but it looks like they'll be getting rid of that. They have also started a football club in Oklahoma
Dawn Sports & Entertainment is apparently the company taking them over, and this is what was written about them by another advisory company when they got involved with Truro...
"We’re proud to announce that NIAR Holdings has been appointed as a Strategic Advisor to the Board of Dawn Sports & Entertainment and Dawn Capital, a sports investment and commercial real estate investment firm based in Oklahoma City.
Dawn Sports & Entertainment continues to build an impressive footprint across the global game — including ownership of Oklahoma United and a minority stake in Truro City Football Club, with additional European club expansion opportunities on the horizon.
Through Dawn Capital, the group also manages commercial real estate investment initiatives, creating a unique platform that connects club ownership, capital markets, and real estate strategy.
NIAR Holdings will support the board with:
• International sports expansion strategy
• Capital structuring and investor alignment
• Cross-border club investment advisory
• Integrated sports and real estate development positioning
The convergence of sports assets and commercial real estate continues to create compelling long-term opportunities. We look forward to working alongside the Dawn leadership team as they execute on both domestic and European growth initiatives."
