Posted on here a couple of weeks back that Bache , Thomas , Jones , Essa & Jardine should be our main targets to keep and it appears that's the case . Kai stepped up well to step 5 last season and is one of those players who hardly ever misses a game and never gives below the max he can .

THAT'S GOTTA BE CAINE | Nuneaton Town FC are delighted to announce that Caine Elliott has joined the club from Rugby Town.
The 24-year-old box to box midfielder is a player with lots of energy who is sure to excite fans. Caine graduated from the Rugby Town Academy back in 2019 when he was just 17 and went on to make 199 appearances across four different spells with the club, including helping Rugby return to Step 4 in 2023. During this period picked up Players' Player and Supporters' Player awards two seasons on the trot. His performances caught the attention of Step 3 clubs and he joined Halesowen Town, making 34 appearances and scoring 2 goals before joining Leamington. However, after limited opportunities he returned to Rugby Town.
Joint manager Russell Dodd said "I am delighted that Caine has agreed to join the club. Caine was a target last year but he wanted to continue playing at Step 4 and it was something I admired and respected his decision. But as soon as we were promoted, Caine was on the target list. I have been watching his career grow since he played at Halesowen and Leamington and I am sure he will add a lot of quality to the current squad. We are excited to see Caine playing for Nuneaton."
Coventry born Caine who has family living in Nuneaton said "I am delighted to sign for the club and can’t wait to get going!"
Welcome Caine!
