Nuneaton Town are pleased to confirm that Danté Hesson has agreed terms for next season.

The 18-year-old midfielder made 28 appearances last season for Town providing2 goals and 3 assists.

I know opinion might be divided on this but I believe he made quite a difference when he came on. He also has the benefit of youth on his side.

I think he should have had more game time.
Hard to progress sitting on a bench, and added something a little more direct when he played.

I'm a bit surprised how many of last seasons squad have been kept on . Thinking about it we do need a squad of around 20 players and we need players who are prepared to be cover / squad players . We can't have 20 Jimmy Armsons .
Think that's only Dec , Carsley & the three central defenders who are still to declare from last season .

I think the management said they would give the existing squad the chance to prove themselves if they wanted to stay. They will recruit others and ire-season will start to sort things out as well as the first five games.
