Not so easy to cover games these days as there is little or no newapaper coverage of games.

I realise that perhaps there’s a way round it. Some summaries based on Boro chat might work.

I'm sure whoever conpiles the excellent, Town to Town will find a way to still maintain coverage of the club. Gone are the days, pre forum, when we had a daily local paper, plus 'The Pink,' and sports Argus. The forum posters do generally give our line ups, scorers , and attendence. But match details , which the likes of Mort Birch gave us, are sadly , now a thing of the past.

Nuneaton News is now printed weekly (on a Wednesday, I think) and there is usually a match report in there which they get from the club.

Hope is not a plan.

Match reports on the website too, and shorter reports in each programme.
I believe John Hobson is working on the next 'Era' document, but will double check with him next time I see him. I am sure that if anyone wants to help him with it, he would be very grateful!

Media coverage

My understanding is that Anker Radio (now based in Beduth, but still transmitting from the GEH in Nuneaton), are currently in negotiation with interested parties with the intention of restoring some coverage of local games. The previous Sports Editor has been unwell and the post is currently vacant.
Starting with BoroTown, as the radio station covers the whole area and Anker Radio is already a club sponsor. They broadcast on FM and are also online. (So available worldwide) They have established some contacts who are connected with the club.
Commentaries would be nice eventually but updates and scoreflashes from games would be the first target.
