Yes but it has to be done at manufacturing stage, by using different shades in the 3G carpet (eg light & dark green).

Edit:

Horsham have just completed their new 3G pitch, which has stripes running the length of the pitch.

If you Google Horsham Football Club there is a photo of the new pitch.
