I believe that Borough put him on contract to prevent him from playing Sunday football. That’s what I was told last season anyway.

A natural goalscorer with a fair amount of ability , but he wasn't prepared to put in the effort needed to play at higher level particularly with regard to fitness . So he's gone to play at a level that suits him . Good luck to him but we've moved on .

I hope that, once we kick off next weekend, any lingering obsessions with Jardine are consigned to history.
I couldn’t care less whether he does well or not.
