Lincoln are a well organized , physically strong , no nonsense type of team . With the players we had missing followed by them taking the lead inside five minutes , a well taken goal but question marks over our defending , i feared the worst . In fact we were the better side particularly after the break but never looked like scoring until we did , a well worked and taken individual goal by Harrison . There only looked like one winner in the penilitys . Jones , Elliot , Atem & Harrison all scored for us while , Osborne saved two .
How many times since we reformed have we either won or saved a match in the dying minutes , thats twice just this week . That's also four penalty shoot outs won .

Couldn't make it yesterday but delighted with the result.
It's great to see that with all of the new arrivals to the squad this season that the team spirit from the past two seasons has continued, the keep going until the final whistle.

Some might not like to hear it but that's got to be down to the managers and backroom staff signing the right players . Think the numbers our fans travel in and the support they give the team also helps , driving them on till the end . It's amazing what can be done by running a club properly . Everybody feels like their part of something and all working together . I've seen much better boro teams but have never felt as much part of the club and i hear that of plenty of others .

thats great to hear , i thought we were excellent yesterday against a good team 2nd in the league at the same level as us.
we gave them a bit of a football lesson 1-90min , it was great to watch . i know their manager agreed given he was losing his head every 5 minutes
charlie jones was my MOM he was absolutely everywhere , he ran the show . jacob shilton looks a real prospect strong composed and can only get better ...didnt put a foot wrong all game
the old cliche the fans were the extra man , they certainly were yesterday and got the team over the line . i'm a firm believer of ... you will win 15 -18 points in the season in a great dressing room and i have no doubts you can win the same off the field
we are not the finished article by any means , still a bit of tweaking to do teamwise . but we possess a never give in attitude and thats good enough for me .

The Club is being run very well and there was a lovely atmosphere around the ground on Tuesday.
I’m very pleased with the ambition shown by the management team. It would have been easy to rest in laurels and have a season of consolidation but they clearly want more and that will help draw the crowds.
Also impressive how the Club just moved on from Jardine and Carsley. I’ve also been impressed with the keeper despite some of the stick he gets from one of the centre halves. So pleased for him yesterday too!
Still buzzing with the results from yesterday which can only be good for Nuneaton!

Yes I agree hence why I said I’m glad we moved on so effortlessly.
A no excuse culture is a happy ship.
Apparently he didn’t want to train but offered to coach which sounds slightly contradictory. Who knows he may come back yet?
We’re moving in the right direction on and off the pitch which is good for all Nuneatonians!

As I said previously, this is a Forum. It is a place to air opinions. So it is perfectly ok for anyone to say that you miss a departed player. Any player. It is sometimes mischievously and deliberately misconstrued as criticism of the current
set-up. Which of course, it isn't.
Like, for instance, I am old enough to have witnessed the greatness of Simmo, Culpin, Rob Straw and Mad Dog. How I wish they could still play for us now. But they can't. I understand that. But I still miss their fire and talent.
A few people with A45 sized chips on their shoulder still like to take the piss out of any Boro followers who express an opinion about departed players. I confess, I get a sinister kind of kick out of winding up such Trolls. I will try to do better.
To summarise: as one who renewed his season ticket in August (and bought another one for someone else at the same time), as a Life member of the Co-operative, and a Club sponsor, I am more than happy with the way the club is being run currently.

You are so right. There are so many players from the past who we wish we could see again. We have been blessed with the quality of player that have worn our colours. This is no reflection on our current players, and their contribution to the present club. I ,like you, and most likely most other supporters, had my favourites. Some of our present players may be thought of in the same way to our younger fans.

I don't think it's a sin to reminisce or be wistful. Memory and nostalgia is one of the very few compensations for growing old. And it is 100% no reflection on who took the field on Saturday nor who will do so next Saturday. Or who is (or isn't) in the dug out.
Added to a later era-Terry Angus: Wes York. Malcolm Christie. Gez Murphy (who helped me with several off field projects) and Chris McKenzie.
