I wonder if it is now club policy not to show any goals that we concede ? We this season only seem to get highlights of games that we don’t lose. I personally think that it is a little misguided judgement if this is the case.

All of our match footage has to be uploaded to the NPL within 24hours in which every club /manager has access to . Another demand of our media team .
Certainly no grand conspiracy or us withholding footage as it’s pointless.it’s simply down to our volunteers availability which is dependent on many factors holidays family time , work and goodwill spending time working on a voluntary basis.
This league has taken up so much more of volunteers time it’s incredible, I doubt we will be able to maintain our media output that we have seen over the past two seasons it’s simply impossible
Mark and myself have recently tried to recruit media team members without success …. Candidates simply don’t understand the role is voluntary .
So misguided we are not … busy yes extremely

I think it’s already been covered above—people don’t consume media through one particular platform. Different demographics use different platforms; surely you know that?
That’s exactly why we use five channels. Our sponsors expect us to promote them across every platform so they can reach those different audiences. Corby are active across other platforms too.
I’m afraid you’ve failed your media team interview, VOR. Your rejection letter is in the post—another form of media! 😂😂

Corby's YouTube channel is the same as ours. They just have 'TV Online' in the title.
There are lots of benefits sharing content on different platforms. For highlights it's just sharing the link to the YouTube channel on other platforms so the content is only posted onto one platform.

Must admit I'm a bit of a doofus as regards IT and media stuff but I always manage eventually to find highlights of most games (if as a caveat they are filmed in the first place: usually they seem to be). Mostly accessed via Facebook or You Tube. Where with a few seconds searching, they are fairly easy to locate. Subscribing to Boro' based channels helps.
There is the massive additional plus of them being available at all . In the days of You Know Who, this did not happen-a tactical ploy apparently, to confuse opponents and enhance our win ratio. (That went well).
In the past, Barrow, Truro, Middlesbrough, Dartford, Kings Lynn, Scarboro etc were a doddle for me. Nowadays, as age takes its toll, Redditch and Gresley seem as far away as Mars. This availability therefore is a godsend for us Old Gaffers.
I can confirm Mark and CHR's comments on difficulties recruiting suitable media volunteers. I've been trying to link local radio with the Boro' ever since we moved to The Oval. (The Club are all for it). But it's been a struggle finding and/or retaining someone to cover games, or even just post up regular updates and scoreflashes.
On away days I use FWP to keep up, but even better is a highly recommended NTFC Facebook Page which maintains a rolling update.

You are certainly not alone in finding away travel difficult if not imposible. I have not attended any away games for quite a while . Like you, I went all over the country watching the club, even midweek games to the likes of Margate, and Weymouth. We never had the option of seeing video highlights of any games in the past until Paul Hughes started filming most home games in the 1990s. Personally I am not that concerned about seeing Bromsgrove's first goal last saturday, as no amount of replays will alter the fact that a goal was given. No one seems bothered when we are given the benefit of such awards.

That’s about the top and bottom of it , it’s not really around match day the issue we have is around Monday to Friday the bread and butter stuff . People are working, living life and everything that comes with that nowadays.
I am lucky semi retired working from home and can dedicate a lot of my spare time to it .
Whereas the very young media team have to work , for example today have around four post that have to go out .

Thanks for the updates. You both have removed the fear that I had,which was that we had returned to the days of AD and his censorship. I will now resort to trawling around next time to find highlights,and any links on forum etc would help me do this. We have in the past omitted highlights at managements requests ie penalty shootouts for obvious reasons, but certainly not purposely withholding stuff
It’s a pointless exercise considering access is freely available to other clubs
On a positive note our management don’t have to trawl the country watching games in the flesh as they have done over the past two seasons .. it’s all at their fingertips
Eynesbury , March and soham on a Tuesday night isn’t great all trips they made last season

You weren't imagining that. The censorship was very real. And very infuriating. (And it did not work. Did we not go one season at LW with only two home wins?).
The current updates/coverage is/are as good as it has been for years. Nice bunch of lads doing the graft in their spare time mostly, too.
I have a season ticket and The Oval is a fairly safe ground for me mobility wise. But Away Games are a bit more of a struggle for me sometimes. The additional coverage is very welcome

I can vouch for the fact that in the past some previous management er.."regimes" actively discouraged such involvement from what they perceived to be "amateurs." Preferring instead to throw money away on "consultants" or "advisers."
Yes it's relentless. But repays in attendances: interest in merchandise: spreading the word etc.
I know, as an ex NBST Executive member, that most voluntary work in the past went unappreciated. Not the case now. Explaining gently, responding to queries positively and outlining procedures is always better PR than a wall of silence.

Absolutely 100% not the case. As with most things with a non league club run by volunteers, it's usually always down to a volunteer issue like availability, illness, capacity, holidays, technical issue.

Most of the time there is just a simple explanation rather than a grand conspiracy.
Side note. In this league and above, every league game (not cup ties) must be recorded by the home side and uploaded to a platform which all other clubs can access but is not available to the public as far as I know. So trying to 'hide' footage from other clubs as a reason would be silly.

The links shared take you to the YouTube video. I went onto the Youtube app and clicked on the share link and posted it here. They are still on YouTube it is just the URL which has been shortened for sharing. Lots of websites do it. If you follow the link and then check the URL again, it will be the full YouTube url.
