We matched Wellingboro on Tuesday and it was a freak goal that won the game, we had the better chances hit the bar and post , yes with a goalscorer we would or could of won ,they are 2nd in league and we have not played teams in the bottom half yet so get behind the boys shout scream whatever ,you never know a qulity forward might be on his way.

As a general rule the better strikers tend to want to play for the better clubs.
Town are currently one place above the relegation zone & their next two games are against teams in the play-off places, followed by missing a game against Corby Town.
To sign a prolific goalscorer now would most likely depend on offering higher wages than most clubs.

I think even if we were top of the league and flying, he’d still be leaving.
Nothing to do with the position we’re in, more the opportunity available to him to move his career to the next stage.

We had a good midfield in the 2 promotions , Dec had a great game Tuesday and Armson was up front,agree we do need a goalscorer and toothless up front , Armson didnt last long said in his interview when he came back he will end his playing days at this club

Loyalty in football is sometimes a strange thing. As it is Brackley, then that's additionally disappointing. Never enjoyed my visits there. Don't like them. Don't like the town or the ground. Never have. Delusions of grandeur.
Got to do the best for yourself, I suppose. Maybe only 411 souls on a cold night in a half empty ground wasn't his cup of Bovril. (It obviously isn't for some). :-) I get that.
He did score a few goals during his brief stay but he wasn't our best midfield player, to be brutally frank. As someone has commented elsewhere, Somel put a real shift in on Tuesday (for example), and is a younger, fitter, faster player. Maybe Jimmy will be able to shed a bit of that extra timber now if he intends to keep playing.
