Very good first half, pressed high, fought for every ball ....they cant handle Essa and Terry .... CJ's long range 30 yarder was a pearl ..
Keep it up Boro

First of all: full credit to the Grantham fans, who kept singing, even at 5-0 down.
Excellent performance all round from Boro' and a clean sheet. Always said they'd get it right :-)

Great performance, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Watching the goals back today, their keeper was awful…but so what?

He was weirdly aggressive. Pushing Boro players to the end.

Yes their keeper was shit, but this is still a tin pot league.

Tin pot League(s)

In my experience Pod has an interesting line in winding up people. I suspect he might be being ironic. It's an old phrase from the past. Especially popular in Fanzine days.
It is not really accurate, as we are now once again facing familiar names from my Programme collection. Wellingborough. Grantham, Rugby, Corby, Rushden, And our hosts Beduff. I came late to The Boro table, in the glorious days of Donnelly, Palgrave, Waters, etc. Beazer Midland. 400 packed into the CABE and loving it. Never looked back.
Well only when you know who took us to Barwell. A step too far for me at that time. Literally.

He definitely does. (Still) . Away ones too, I believe, sometimes.
Just has a slightly different angle on a few issues.
And does so enjoy a wind up.

Im surprised how big a step up this league is compared to last season.
I wonder what kind of step up we'll see next season 😉

It should not really have been a surprise when you saw the amount of well established teams in this league that we had faced in the past. I have never thought of the likes of Bedworth, or sutton Coldfield Town as basically amateur teams. This level is definitely a step up from the leagues of the last two seasons.

It definitely is. Not sure about Loughborough Students and Bourne but some other names from our old fixture lists are reappearing back on our radar now.
That's why Tuesday night and almost duffing up Wellingborough the week before was so satisfying.

It is a good job these lower leagues exist or we would not have been able to restart after our latest debarcle three years ago.
Small mercies.
