If the lads do their jobs to the standard of last tuesday , then there is every chance of a favourable result tonight.

Will definitely take that! Not a game that will live long in the memory that's for sure. We seemed to have most of the possession apart from a spell at the start of the second half, but St Ives closed us down very quickly & worked really hard throughout the game which meant there was limited chances for us. But credit to the lads for keeping going and being rewarded with the pen after Eesa was taken out by their keeper just inside the box. Special mention for Jacob Shilton too who I thought was excellent π
Long way to go on a Tuesday Monday night, well done lads! UTB π
And much more pleasant trip to St Ives than last time!

It wasnβt the best of games we got in behind them a few times without the final ball . They had clearly done their homework on us and doubled up on Eesa
However Finn didnβt have much to do other than one tip over the bar , we were defensively solid limiting their attack.
Contrary to their managers opinion and a few of their supporters I felt we were the only team that was going to score especially as they tired .
All in all three points away from home, no grumbles β¦
I echo marks comments Jacob Shilton was fantastic, we have a top player on our hands

sounds very positive
you have to give it to the management
who seem to have ( sorted it ?????? ) ......... very early days yet though.
hence the caution, watch this space.
just to add; the spirit in the camp must be high, that goes a long way.

Yes Joe we did need to stop conceding sloppy goals.
You really need to pop down for the odd game.

Pity?
Nahh!
The only pity I have is not for your mobility or your age . I just think (from reading all your posts) ,that you would enjoy at least some of the current matchday experience. It's a pity you are missing out some of that, imho.
Yes, I accept (holds up hand) that for the moment we are unlikely to beat Swansea and Stoke at home or draw with Middlesbrough and Bournemouth.
But: we are most definitely on the way back and for the moment we are going about it all in the RIGHT way. (For a change). Two seasons and a third under way suggests that this is NOT a flash in the pan. It is a resurgence.
I pity only the fact that someone as eloquent and passionate as you obviously are cannot or will not share all our joy. Up to you of course, but on a bad day/bad week, even at my venerable age. (** in December) there is very little little that can lift you more than seeing your side achieve a fighting win and thereby move into a play off position. Not even winning on the gee gees. My old man spent a lifetime doing that. The gees gees always won.
