Hard fought win, not vintage performance but we didn't give up.
Note to self, 'be careful what you wish for'

Boston looked well up for it initially and played some decent football. But once they realised the ref was an easy touch and hopelessly inconsistent, they lost their way a little . Encouraged by their dugout they began to concentrate more on theatrics aimed at fooling him rather than technique. After the game it was surprising to see their number eight standing upright. During the game he spent a lot of time rolling about or on his hands and knees. Even when he stood on the ball and fell over, the ref gave a foul. ( I think that got Doddsy a yellow card?).
Boro had a fairly wobbly twenty minutes to begin with. But stuck to their task doggedly and just plugged away. Chesterton was once again immense
Big cheer for the winner and that final whistle. Wouldn't want to play them every week.

Harry Chesterton unsung hero.

Pretty fair assessment that may I say. I would add that I thought that our defence collectively won the game for us. We’re still lightweight up front but there’s no doubting anyone’s work rate.
Little by little.

That also is a fair assessment. A side with a lesser work ethic than our current one would have gone under to a "robust" side like Boston last night.
We are blessed with two decent goalkeepers. Gabriel's distribution when not under pressure gives us an extra dimension. Our defence and midfield worked very hard for each other. Going forwards we were equally willing but they appeared to have done their homework on Eesa and Bradley.
A satisfying win.

Goal keeper at fault shouldn't be beaten on the side he's guarding.
