Our two dont get a look in when the managers prefer a midfielder upfront.

Looks like a transition within the club is taking place of sorts... players leaving, management team leaving .... new players are yet to be signed to replace those that have left..... im hearing money is the big issue.

If money is the issue, that is perfectly understandable.

The other clubs in the league are not having to fund a Planning Application, coupled with having no bar & food takings.

Lee is doing an excellent job financially to balance the books & steady the ship.

Stick to the philosophy.

If players & management want to go, that's fine, let them go!

The right players will want to play for the Town.

Works differently at nearly every club, some rely on gate receipts, some on sponsorship, others have sugar daddies .... Barwell have Jimmy 😁

They are not funding a Planning Application with a difficult Council.

Irrelevant.

If they were not having to fund a Planning Application, that money could be spent on the playing budget.

Or reduce the gate entry price..... im not sure of all the other clubs in this league but we are one of the most expensive I believe. Anyway I digress.
I do agree to attract better players you need a bigger budget..... that goes hand in hand .... rightly or wrongly we're sticking with our budget and that seems to be frustrating some.

I heard that two strikers were approached but the club would not bow to excessive wage demands. Good for them I say.

Little by little.

Excessive wage demands.

Are they good enough to play for Town or are they chancers?

This is Level 8/Step 4...let's get real!?

I heared similar and the wage he wanted£££....
Looks like we are sticking to our guns over wages but you could let 2 go to get 1 in ....
Iv also heared there is movement in and out with the 7 day rule but nothing over the airwaves yet.

There needs to be common sense applied at this level.

The real test will come if Town are promoted to Level 7/Step 3.

That will be a totally different & greater challenge

There is no alternative.

If ever they start to make real progress towards a return to Nuneaton, then the pressure will increase significantly!

£100k won't go very far!

Edit:

Sorry!

I've posted this in the wrong place!

I'm watching the Tigers game on TNT Sports.
