Belper Town.

It says on Boro website that Nuneaton have not played Belper before in a competitive game. I seem to remember playing them (as Nuneaton Borough) in the FA Cup at Liberty Way a few seasons ago. I am sure Boro won 3-1 after falling behind. Also older supporters may remember Boro Reserves playing Belper in the Central Alliance League in late 50’s and early 60’s.

Next round we won 1-0 at Leamington with a Tyrell Waite goal followed by. 4-0 defeat at Alvechurch in a dreadful performance.

Perhaps why I don't remember it then. Most of the football we were playing then was instantly forgetable

I too thought we had played them before. If it was a reserve match then I expect that does not count. You may be right about a cup tie but I don't remember that match.
