Leamington fan here.

As most fans, I was saddened that as a club Nuneaton Borough have gone. Nobody wants that, and as a Leamington fan we had no club from 1988 to 2000 and in someways we are still building that club and trying to create something better than before.

Too many football fans believe that a club is a bunch of blokes in a boardroom. But it's really not. Nuneaton Borough is in the hearts and memories of the fans, volunteers and staff and players.

Nuneaton Borough will continue if you want it to. It doesn't matter what division or how many seats. Nuneaton borough FC is a mens team a women's team, kids teams, mixed ability teams, volunteers, people of every background who just want to watch a game of football in their back yard and proudly wear the badge of their club.

Build your club from what you are and what you still have. You have boys and girls teams filled with not only senior players of the immediate future, but many wonderful volunteers, coaches and football expertise.

Your fanbase is full of expertise. You are all vital to the success of building a club. Nobody is worthless. You don't need investors. You need passion, determination, humour and a pitch. You can do this. Get behind the trust, support each other. You are the club.

Thanks so much I hope all Boro supporters read your post because despite what has happened to our club again and again in recent years some still crave “Investers”
