Good afternoon all

Staines Town v Bromley
Skrill South
Tuesday 25th March 2014 - 7:45pm

I am pleased to say that the work of our groundstaff has paid off, and although the pitch is soft and there are still rainclouds about, my groundsman advises that an inspection is no longer necessary, as a referee would pass it fit for play.

I understand that they were able to mobilise all available personnel, and also hired in a special absorbent roller (because forking was proving impossible / ineffective), and this has done the trick. Thankfully the water table is lower now than it was when we had the floods last month.

The game now goes ahead as planned.
