''new balls please''

I don't think I've seen so many balls exit the ground over the main stand and into the car park as last night, also the gardens behind the goal were peppered and I felt really sorry for the goat in the farm !

Maybe Havants long ball, hit the front man style allowed our centre halves more time to clear into above areas.

All in all another solid performance against a good side who with games in hand should be knocking on the play off door.

Great tempo from staines and how on earth we didn't score in the ist half I will never know.
Bashram Pashaj is turning into a great impact sub, if you weren't there last night the run for his goal was top draw and the finish wasn't to shabby either

Another mention must go to the groundsman at Wheatsheaf Park , the pitch is in superb condition and must be a joy to play on . If the conference south award prizes for pitches over a season Staines has to be up there .

Only sad point from last night for me was only 200 odd turned up to watch the two form clubs in the division.
