UXBRIDGE VETS v STAINES TOWN VETS
Sunday 27th July - KO 12pm @ Uxbridge FC
The George Talbot Memorial Day celebrates our very popular past player and Manager who passed away last month. George as you may know played well over three hundred games for the Swans and was a very popular manager and very bubbly character. His Brother Colin has arranged a game between Uxbridge Vets and Staines Town Vets on Sunday 27th July KO 12pm at Uxbridge FC. Colin will be running the Uxbridge side and we believe Ken Ballard and Chris Wainright will be running the Staines team. The chosen charity is the Mesothelioma Charity which is the very aggressive form of asbestosis that George died of. Henry Tunbridge ( Georges friend for over 50 years ) will be presenting a trophy to the winning team.
