What wound me up the most last night was the attitude of the players, They clearly care because they post on twitter and Facebook saying how disappointed they are etc... But we just don't seem to see that translated onto the pitch.
I have never known a team to go 2-0 up and capitulate so quickly and easily, We could almost see it coming. As soon as Hayes 1st goal went in the players heads dropped almost as if they knew it was coming! Having moved around the ground a bit in the last few weeks I have enjoyed seeing the game from different angles, and the thing that has been highlighted the most is the attitude of the bench whenever things aren't going too well. For Example when we conceded and the game went to 2-2 our management was sat/stood with their arms folded and heads down but in contrast back when Hayes were 2-0 down their bench did not shut up, encouraging each and every player to give 100% even it was to prevent the ball going out for a throw-in! Surely if our management was just as loud and encouraging as the Hayes guys last night it would benefit the team massively.
