Staines Town FC is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the Premier League International Cup tie between the Under 21 selections of FC Porto and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Wheatsheaf Park’s renowned playing surface, its reputation alongside the Thames Club as welcoming and efficient hosts, and its proximity to Heathrow were key factors in its selection by the Premier League for this prestigious fixture.
The Premier League International Cup is being launched this year, and involves eight clubs from the FA Premier League, together with eight from other European nations, who have been drawn into four qualifying groups of four for the tournament, which will be played entirely in England.
These two clubs compete in Group A, alongside Chelsea and Norwich City.
The match kicks off at 1:00pm on this Sunday, 23rd November, with admission priced at just £3 (concessions £1)
