If Carlsberg did away wins , Yesterdays was up there with the best .

If you had gone to Paddy Power (other bookmakers are available) pre game and asked for a price on a 1-0 away win they would have laughed you out the betting shop.

I got the impression pre game that the Bromley fans were expecting a cricket score following the home 6-0 drubbing they inflicted on us last month.

So to the match, To be fair Bromley are a good side but in my humble opinion they just weren't at the races yesterday. A superb defensive display from Ari , Tommy , Chris and Darren along with dogged midfield work and clever hold up play up front denied and Frustrated the league leaders.

Freiters goal was a thing of beauty , and deserving of being the match winner. The last 15 minutes were nerve jangling and when Joe committed the foul in the box the heads dropped amongst the hardy swans .

To see the ball fly high over the bar was a beautiful thing , the Bromley fans headed for the exits and we celebrated as if we had won the league.

All the players along with the management came over and shook each of our hands at the end , and let me tell that means as much as the win to football fans.

And don't forget

''ITS ALL SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUTS''
