"Fake stone island"

Firstly I'd like to endorse all the gratitude being given to John .

Hopefully most of you have read the blog written by a neutral non league football fan, who chose to attend our game and join our fans . It's a great piece and sums up following a non league side very well.

The atmosphere on Saturday was pure class from the fans.we sang throughout the game and the players & management have all said how much they appreciated it.

Highlights are always the banter with the away fans . And although Orient didn't really muster a song . A small band of locals appeared in the 2nd half and were subjected to some quality banter ..
"Your just a sh*t 1 direction" and "Fake stone island" were big hits .. even the ball boy got pelters. . All taken in good heart..

We had 2 tin foil fa cups and flags that had to pass safety checks before being allowed in .. there was even a bugle

In response to an Orient fan on twitter who thought we were insensitive during the minutes silence .. I'd like to say that the referee seemed to mess up the whistle blowing, IMO we observed the minute silence imbecelly.

As non league football fans we have to embrace days like Saturday purely because they are rare.
Our fans behaved superbly and are a credit to our great club ..

Let's hope we can create all this atmosphere at games for the rest of the season ..

Don't forget
"It's all swings and roundabouts "
