Last night could of been viewed as a missed opportunity, after all going into the break 1 up and with a player advantage things looked good, very good tbh, and who knows if the Ref had remembered to take his spectacles back out 2nd half and we managed to take one of those chances events easily could of seen us progressing to the next round.
The bigger picture tells a different story, this team can play with something that's been missing over resents seasons Desire!!
They want to win the ball back, they want to make runs they want to fight for each other.I'm no Staines Town FC Historian but I can tell you now.. That's been missing for a while!!!
You may think I've been on the ales, and yes good starts to seasons haven't ended well recently.. But there is a solidness and honestly about this team.
And yes definitely room for improvement and when they try playing out from the back it can definitely set the heart racing. The defence in general could do with a tweak here and there.
But this is looking good... Just hope I haven't put a mockers on it 😬 and end rewriting this 🙄.
