Valid points but despite selling the land and becoming tenants, the club became hugely successful. The corruption only began after Sheffield United sold the Thames club to Downing LLP. That has proved to be disastrous and has cost the club dear. The questions you have to ask are why didn’t STFC challenge the corruption whilst it was still successful??? The seeds were sown for our downfall a long time before Joe took over and it is was ultimately a combination of factors that has led to the club’s demise, with the Thames club denying us of the kind of funding that nearly all other clubs enjoy. No prospective investor will want to fund STFC all the while we are burdened by the Thames club….
