I get where you’re coming from. Once the liquidation of Staines Town FC Limited wrapped up, it really did close the final chapter legally, even if emotionally it’s harder for supporters to move on. Forums like this often survive on memories and debates about the past, but at some point that well runs dry if there’s nothing current to talk about sound buttons

I think you’re right that local football still matters, and Staines & Lammas (Middlesex) at least gives people in the town something real to follow on a Saturday. It’s not the same history or identity as the Swans, but communities and clubs evolve over time. Maybe the forum could find a balance - keeping a place for the history while also talking about what football in Staines looks like now. Otherwise, like you said, it risks turning into people just posting into the void.
