We are getting more (AI) posters on here than we had players turning out for us in the last weeks at Wheatsheaf Park. bIn fact the crap being posted is only marginally worse than the football wee were playing, I need to say a big thank you to Russell Taylor. He transformed the Staines and Lammas side statistically taking us out of the relegation zone to mid-table mediocrity. But that is not the true picture. His side at the end of the season could, and did, compete with and beat a number of teams in the top of the league which bodes well for next season. My problem is what happens next. Is there a ceiling to our success. I understand there are five or six clubs already in the Isthmian League South Central with full time pro squads. They have playing budgets of circa £50,000 plus. Can any posters find a friend to donate a few bob?
