Maidenhead lost in the first round of the play offs this year. The only way they can compete at present is because they are still getting the benefits of the Killman transfer bonus. This runs out this year and their supporters feel they will no longer be able to compete, There are talks of moving. Supporters are sceptical about where the profits on the ground sale will go. that stirs memories. There is still a big financial gap as to where success can take you unless you can find a wealthy backer with an interest in football.
