My Infiniti QX60 has been shifting strangely for the past few weeks and I am getting worried. It started with a slight jerk when going from first to second gear and now sometimes it hesitates before engaging when I accelerate from a stop. The car has done about 130,000 km and I have never had any transmission work done on it so maybe this is just wear and tear catching up. A friend told me these CVT transmissions need proper servicing and if you ignore the early signs it can turn into a very expensive problem. So now I am looking for a workshop that does genuine Infiniti transmission repair in Khalifa City because I do not want someone experimenting on my car. The problem is I do not know anyone here who has dealt with this before. Most garages I called said they can look at it but when I ask if they have experience with Infiniti CVTs they get vague. That does not give me confidence. Has anyone here had transmission work done on their Infiniti and can recommend a place? How did you know they were using genuine parts and not just whatever they had lying around? Also how long did the repair take and what did it cost roughly? I am hoping it is something simple like a fluid change but I want to be prepared for the worst. Any advice would really help because I cannot afford to replace this car right now.
