So the gap has started to widen , lets face it the league table doesn't lie . We are bottom because we have been simply woeful
6 point gap between us and Wealdstone , yes with 2 games in hand , but lets be honest can anyone see us winning 2 leagues games back to back at the moment ?
The away game at Wealdstone as become , to coin an awful football cliché a '' 6 pointer '' and its only November
The pitches will soon begin to become heavier which will be a test of fitness and stamina for the younger players and once the weather sets in and games start to get postponed a fixture backlog could be a signal for tougher times.

For me January will be when our fate is sealed , seven games in 30 days weather permitting , I would quite happily sacrifice the Middlesex senior cup and the FA trophy and concentrate purely on staying in the conference south , After all as fans have we really seen any benefits from last season so called money spinning cup runs ?

Don't forget
