So just to re-cap, manager who came in pre-season without any "baggage" turned out to be untenable due to the "baggage" that came with him! Chairman gives temporary role to a bloke who actually did quite well and seemed to be getting a few results, Chairman then bins off bloke doing quite well for an "ex-pro" manager who chairman hoped would do better than temporary bloke. Ex-pro does even worse than temp bloke. In excess of 80 players rocked-up so far. CCL looking increasingly likely? What happened to 10 year plan? Wasn't there a consortium that took over the club from Mr Boon? Was there proper due diligence? Is there a justifiable legal case against the Thames Club? Is the Chairman a poorer version of Glenn Tamplin? Big ideas but not the means to deliver?
