Honestly, with Staines Town FC Limited officially finishing its liquidation in late 2025, the "legal" ghost of the club is finally gone. It’s a sad end, but the paperwork is done and the creditors got exactly what you predicted: nothing.
If this forum stays stuck on "lies and statistics" or old dramas, it’s just going to die out. There’s no point waiting for a miracle from a company that doesn't exist anymore soundboard .
Right now, Staines & Lammas (Middlesex) is the only thing keeping the town's name on the map in the Combined Counties League. It might not be the "Swans" we grew up with, but it’s actual football happening on a Saturday.
In my opinion, we should pivot the forum to support the current local setup. Better to evolve and keep the community alive than to let the whole thing fade into the mists of time. What’s the alternative? Just posting to an empty room?
