Picking on fans

Why is it that some people seem hell bent on attacking some of our fans??? Elements of the local media and others on here appear to have a vendetta against some elements of the support, epically the choir.

I'm not a member of the choir and choose to stand pitch side for most of the games, but I personally do enjoy hearing them sing, they are often the only ones creating any sort of atmosphere in an otherwise often quiet ground.

I'm not encouraging swearing but people are naive if they think they will not hear any while at Wheatsheaf Park, or any other ground in the country for that matter. It is a part of modern society and will be heard everywhere from the home to the street and work place

As for Marcus telling fans to go elsewhere I would he regrets saying those words in the heat of the moment, fans pay good money to watch Staines and to try to isolate them would I feel be a grave mistake

The manager's "heat of the moment" statement will do little to encourage more supporters through the turnstiles.

Completely agree, to alienate the fans would be detrimental to the club, good money is paid to watch Staines, and after that first half the comments from the stands were entirely justified. For many of us supporting Staines is a life time commitment, so for him to say "go elsewhere" was ludicrous. Hopefully it was a one off and all forgotten about now.

Next time someone tells fans not to boo, fans must say, "Well OK, if we're just extras at your show then pay us to cheer when you're crap."

So Allardyce says fans mustn't boo. Why do they ALWAYS forget fans are the ONLY ones who have paid to get in. ,

I do think some people shout idiotic stuff but Marcus should show thicker skin and ignore.
