Angie, sorry to see you're leaving but I wish you all the best. You ARE Staines Town FC and the club will be poorer for you leaving. Take care, Dave

A shame to hear that you are stepping down as Commercial Manager but hope that we will still see you at STFC manning the turnstiles? You have always provided a friendly welcome to those arriving at Wheatsheaf Park.

Yes a shame you've decided to step down Angie, and I'm sure everyone will agree what a fantastic job you have done in the last seven years with all the sponsorship you have brought to this club and filling every available sponsor board in the ground. Hope you will still be around to help out in some other capacity.

Sorry guys, I will not be doing anymore voluntary duties either. The club will have to find someone else to put in the long hours.

Thank you for all you have done for the club, Angie - and your kindness to me.
I've stopped attending because of the abuse and the awful, offensive behaviour of a tiny minority of people who attend the games. However (and despite the potential for further abuse I will receive here) I really wanted to thank you.

Thanks for all the help over the years -good luck in the future. In my view not only were you the Commercial Manager but the vital link between us supporters and the club hierarchy, a skill which does not come easy to everybody. That extra special something that you brought to the atmosphere at Wheatsheaf Lane will be difficult-perhaps even impossible - to replace.
The success of a club, is in my mind not just simply measured by the performance on the pitch, but from the total match day experience. You always made sure that everyone was made to feel welcome both home and visiting supporters.Lets hope the gap between supporters and club does not widen even further with your departure.
Best wishes
Norm

Club silence!

For such a sudden departure yesterday I expected to see an official club announcement on the website, but strangely nothing. The wording of Angie's post ("find someone else") suggests a ring of acrimony!
