I actually find it really sad seeing this.

Being part of the "original choir" i dont think it is a coincidence that during this time the club experienced its best ever results in the FA cup and ultimatley promotion to the Conference South.
However, there were some people intent on breaking up the atmosphere at Wheatsheaf park and to be honest, that bad feeling is part of the reason i have not been at all this season. One by one people left and i just find it odd. This is football and football needs an atmosphere, the team respond.
I might attend on Tuesday evening against Hayes and Yeading to see how bad the atmosphere has become, if its silent, it will be a bore!!
Up the choir, whereever you are!!!!

Steve the four thumbs down is Troy using his multiple accounts. He made a mistake before of posting under the wrong account name which didnt fit the personality of the other one he'd made up.
Troy is some Internet troll who's having a great time winding everyone up and the club pretty much let him win by coming out in support of him making an official statement on an unofficial fans forum. It's going to take some a while to forget that.
The club do not seem to want to encourage any kind of atmosphere at the ground. From stewards 'having a word' with home fans but not away fans, to not having a covered area behind the goal like every other club in the league and for still not having bloody chips!!!

I have said this so many times before, but all the while we have no cover behind the goals and without a decent bar, the club will never build a decent following. As smart as the ground is, the atmosphere is non existant. I have been saying this for years but no one ever listens...

The main thing about this comment is the fact the club do not do chips!
We want chips!
And pies!
And sausages!
And cakes!
Ohh damn this makes me look fat ;-)

If we had pukka pies and chips it would be amazing

The "sad people's" 'thumbs down' for Steve McC's comment will not, I am sure be personal, just a reflection of how some fans still feel following a club statement supporting a couple people intent on breaking up the atmosphere... which worked!

Sadness
Views: 2399
Anon - I don't agree with you. I think the votes give a clear message that we don't need a return to the unwelcome boorish behaviour, swearing at injured opposing players (I've noticed this has crept back in via the large man at the back of the stand), and tuneless 'singing' - though calling it 'singing' is wrong; more like joined-up yelling.
At games this season, it has been pleasing to see the return of some children with their parents. It will be sad if their enjoyment is put in jeopardy due to a return to offensive language and the discordant yelling of half a dozen blokes at the back of the stand.

"clear message"!

What is clear, there are fewer people going to Wheatsheaf Park to watch football.
Tim/Troy/Sandra, whatever your name is, take off the blinkers, you complain about a number of supporters behaviour but you fail to mention the obscenities and filthy language that we all hear coming from some players mouths, the kids clearly hear it too! your argument is not consistent therefore has little credibility!
It seems you will only be happy when you are singing happily to yourself when the club is back in the Ryman League!

Sorry _ I was joking by using his name, but the joke obviously misfired!
Trying to satirise the multiple account syndrome.

Troy you dropped a clanger editing/deleting the original post by suggesting it is acceptable for players to swear but not supporters, over 100 people have viewed it!
The Windsor FC messageboard is probably a better place for you.

Troy McClure, when are you going to finally introduce yourself or do you enjoy hiding behind a keyboard?
I find it funny that the majority of people have moved away from the stand now and we still get grief for singing, shouting, swearing!
Let's face it the club is going downhill fast, the attendance is poor! The football has not been great and well, we have keyboard warriors who can make the club respond but the true fans the voice is lost.
Shame, really!

The club is struggling off the pitch as it stands. The majority of us move from the stands to stop all this nonsense about swearing and bad behaviour and now this. What does the club want? to listen to an internet troll like troy and other minions who the club have never met or there genuine fans who pay the money to come through the gate and have supported the club through each season home and away and at private functions for the club.
Poor attendances will live on until something is changed.
