Don't know whats going on?
Last season we were virtually invincible at home. This season we can't seem to win at all.
Just can't seem to hold on to a lead.Twice at home, once away we have led 2-0 and then gone on to lose.
If this slide does'nt stop soon, this season could end up being a long hard struggle.
Losing becomes a bad habit just as quickly as winning becomes a good habit. It seems to be that when we concede a goal we start to panic , with the result being that we end up conceding again very soon afterwards.
We are not a bad team on paper , with a lot of the squad having helped us finish 8th last season, reaching the 1st Round of the FA Cup and taking Luton to a replay in the FA Trophy.
A couple of wins will (i am sure) help us get the winning mentality back - hopefully starting on Saturday.

What I find so hard to understand is that with so many quality players in the squad we should be well up the table. Something is very wrong with the mental attitude in the team and we need to get a winning mentality back as this squad is no way a relegation outfit. Hopefully a change of scenery in the FA Cup this Sat should see a change in fortune and something to build on.

What wound me up the most last night was the attitude of the players, They clearly care because they post on twitter and Facebook saying how disappointed they are etc... But we just don't seem to see that translated onto the pitch.
I have never known a team to go 2-0 up and capitulate so quickly and easily, We could almost see it coming. As soon as Hayes 1st goal went in the players heads dropped almost as if they knew it was coming! Having moved around the ground a bit in the last few weeks I have enjoyed seeing the game from different angles, and the thing that has been highlighted the most is the attitude of the bench whenever things aren't going too well. For Example when we conceded and the game went to 2-2 our management was sat/stood with their arms folded and heads down but in contrast back when Hayes were 2-0 down their bench did not shut up, encouraging each and every player to give 100% even it was to prevent the ball going out for a throw-in! Surely if our management was just as loud and encouraging as the Hayes guys last night it would benefit the team massively.

Could the loss of Scott Taylor be partly to blame I wonder? He seemed to be of great influence to the team whether on the pitch or bench. We miss his leadership and ability to put confidence into the team.
